Fruit Salad with Limoncello

I Heart Cooking Clubs

If you like fruit salad then I encourage you to make this one, it won rave reviews when I served it. I was inspired by the Limoncello which I had plenty. The fruit base is filled with summer fruits: strawberries, raspberries, blueberries and banana. The fruit salad is sweetened with sugar but I think you can omit. The lemon yogurt topping, which is to die for, is composed of Greek yogurt, lemon curd, honey and vanilla. Again I think you can leave the honey out as curd is sweet on its own. I served  this as a starter but it would certainly work as a dessert too.

The recipe is available from the Food Network website. To see what others made head over to IHCC.

  2. I've made this salad, too. In fact I was inspired to make my own batch of limoncello just so I could mix it with fruit, hahaha. Like you, now I have plenty. It's nice in the summer mixed with mineral water over ice.
