From the Salty Side Up section of Baking with Dorie, we selected these Cheese Puffers. The picture in the book looks oh so yummy. Dorie describes these as a cross between a muffin and a popover. I don’t think we have ever had a popover before so this is a new one for us. I took Dorie’s advice and served these with homemade chili, it has been perfectly cold here in California. These were so good! I made a half recipe as there were only 3 of us for dinner and I ate 2! I couldn’t help myself. We will definitely be making these again. So far we are bating 100% with this new book. To see what others thought head over to Tuesdays with Dorie.
I agree, I will make these again, too. Yours look perfect.

I ate two as well…we served them with beef stew and they were perfect with that. Yours looks so good, all that melty cheese. Repeat worthy for sure.
