Brioche

This week on Tuesdays with Dorie we are baking bread. We have made brioche many times; brioche sticky buns, brioche sandwich buns, chocolate babka and cheese-swirl babka buns. This loaf of bread was easy to make compared to all the other recipes.

Brioche does take planning ahead, the dough needs to chill overnight. After the final rise the bread baked up beautifully in a 375 degree oven in 35 minutes. I used my thermometer to make sure it was the recommended temperature of 200 degrees. We enjoyed a fresh slice of bread as soon as it came out of the oven and enjoyed the rest as toast throughout the week.

This is our last bread recipe and I admit I will miss making bread. To see what others thought head over to Tuesdays with Dorie.
