Our recipe for Tuesdays with Dorie comes from her latest book Dorie’s Anytime Cakes. Dorie gives us several ways to make our Corn Toasties. I had planned to make muffins but my husband stepped in and made the cornbread in a skillet. This was a very good recipe, I think my husband would like to make it again as he loves recipes with cornmeal.
My heart is breaking for the passing of my sweet little girl, Hope. RIP 2014-2026.

Aw, so sorry to hear about your sweet dog’s passing. You can tell from the lovely picture and her kind eyes what a wonderful pet she must have been. Again – so sorry. On a happier note, your corn “toasties” look fab. I went the muffin route but honestly am now sorry I didn’t just put the batter in a pan. Oh well, next time !!

Losing a family member is always difficult. Hope looks like such a sweet pup.
