

To amp up the flavor I substituted my jar of Trader Joe’s Everything but the Bagel Sesame Seasoning Blend. I used one tablespoon in place of the other ingredients in the cake and my husband picked the same blend in the smoked salmon. This roll-up delivered on flavor with so many ingredients inside. I don’t normally put all these ingredients on my bagel so this was a change for me. The cake rolled up perfect and was an attractive dish. If I was invited to a brunch I would happily make and bring this but for our family I think it is a pass. It is a very heavy dish so I don’t think it will be a repeat in our house.
