Blueberry-buttermilk Bundt Cake

With the heat of the summer, blueberries are in season every where so this was the perfect summer cake. It was painful to turn on my oven, we were having a heatwave in California, but I did it any way. I had most of the ingredients for this bundt cake but picked up fresh blueberries, a lemon and some buttermilk. The cake came out feeling very heavy and it didn’t rise much so I was worried it was too moist but fear not it came out perfect. Everyone loved it.   1. In season or not, a box of blueberries is always on hand. This is a great cake to make, especially when the blueberries are sweet and juicy. Your close-up shot looks incredible.

  4. Gosh…it has been sooo hot here in California!!! I had made this earlier in the month thank goodness! It was a nice light summertime cake though…I am glad you made it and enjoyed it!!
