Double-Mint Milk Chocolate Mousse and Gelee

Mint is not my husband’s favorite flavor, he prefers I not use fresh mint in dishes and mint chocolate chip would not be his ice cream of choice. On the other hand my son and I love all thinks mint so I jumped into this recipe from Baking Chez Moi with both feet. I don’t have a problem with gelee so I gleefully made it and everyone loved this little bit except my son who thought the mint looked like grass. The milk chocolate mousse had just a hint of mint which went over well with my husband. My older in-laws couldn’t really taste it, I would have to amp up the mint next time for their taste buds. My dessert glasses that I borrowed from my mother-in-law are exactly like the ones in Dorie’s picture, they must have shopped the same place. This was a home-run dessert, restaurant worthy and a make-again recipe. To see what others thought head over to Tuesdays with Dorie.
