Ladyfingers

Raspberry Tiramisu en Verrine from Around My French Table

When these ladyfingers were assigned for Baking Chez Moi I knew I would be making something with them. I picked Raspberry Tiramisu en Verrine from Around My French Table. This is a layered dessert a verrine (short glass). Ladyfingers are brushed with kirsch, framboise or creme de cassis or in my case Chambord. The raspberry coulis is spread over the ladyfingers. The mascarpone cream filling is the next layer and finally topped with fresh raspberries. Repeat all steps for another layer. Chill well before serving with a dusting of confectioners’ sugar. I made 4 servings with my one cup ramekins. I am sure these would have been prettier in a clear glass but I did not have any. These were a rousing success! Everyone loved the raspberries and my son declared that it was his favorite dessert so far, a complement indeed from the picky eater. I will be making these again.

It sounds delicious Diane. I have not decided what to do with mine when I make them as I have a tonne of lady fingers that I bought for a previous Dorie recipe.
