One of the things that is nice about choosing my own recipes to make is that I can go from one recipe to the next with like ingredients. That is what I did here, having just made Dieter’s Tartine which included chives I then chose this cheese and chive bread. Dorie said you could pick a variety of cheese (Gruyere, Comte, Emmenthal) but I stayed with what I had on hand which was cheddar. This savory cheese bread was a big hit with the family. We love cheese!
