February Potluck! Baked Rigatoni with Bechamel Sauce

This week at I Heart Cooking Clubs we can cook from any of their featured chefs, I chose Giada De Laurentiis.

I made Baked Rigatoni with Bechamel Sauce available on the Food Network website. I have made this several times and it is a crowd pleaser. There were a few changes I made. Instead of letting my milk come to room temperature I microwaved it to heat it. Prosciutto tends to be really salty so I don’t add any additional salt to the dish also I add less prosciutto then the recipe calls for. Other than that we love this dish.

  1. Mmm… nothing better than creamy, cheesy pasta and no one better for the recipe than Giada. I can see why it's a hit from the picture alone. 😉

I like using bechamel sauce. It makes an interesting alternative to a tomato sauce. Perfect browning on top!
