Torta Sbrisolona

These dry, crumbly Italian cookies are not pretty to look at but do taste good. The almond lover in my family especially liked them. Luckily I was a bit lazy when clumping my dough together and that worked to my advantage. I also ignored the directions of taking the biscuits out of the pan. I cut them into bars in my pan which worked well, no sticking. The crumbs that were leftover in the pan was a nice topping to my fruit and yogurt. To see what other’s thought this week head over to Tuesdays with Dorie.
