Moroccan-Spiced Chickpea and Noodle Soup

I made this lovely soup for my family on Valentine’s Day. It was a welcome addition to our dinner table. The photo was taken on day two in which the soup became more stew-like as Dorie had stated. I preferred the first night in which the soup was thin and broth like. My husband preferred the thicker soup but basically everyone was happy with this flavorful soup. I took the time to make the meatballs and I used beef. There were so many yummy additions to this soup that it made a very nice meal. I am so glad that I have this group to nudge me along, otherwise I would look at the recipe and say to much work for soup. To see what others thought head over to Cook the Book Fridays.

  3. With so much ingredients and spices and time involvement, this soup is a labor of love. So appropriate for Valentine’s Day!

  4. I agree that it was more stew-like on the second and subsequent days but I added a bit of stock each time to make it more soup-like if that is what I am after! LOVED this so much!
