Honey-and-Tea Jammers

This cookie recipe was a team effort. I have been working and traveling (for work) and I knew I wouldn’t get it done without some assistance. My husband had the day off of work so he assisted in making the cookie dough, rolling it out and refrigerating it. All I had to do the next day was make the streusel and bake the cookies. It all went well except for the fact that the cookie slabs stuck together. I used strawberry jam and since we like jam I put a whole teaspoon on the cookie which seemed to work well. These are a tasty cookie with the three layers: cookie base, jam and streusel but we didn’t taste the honey or tea. To see what others thought head over to Tuesdays with Dorie.
