My husband’s favorite nut is the almond. They show up in his granola, with a meal think trout amandine and in his desserts. I voted for these knowing that they would hit the spot. These are fairly easy to put together butter, sugar, salt are blended until smooth and then vanilla and almond extract are added. Finally all-purpose flour and almond flour round out the ingredients. A tablespoon of dough is rolled into a 4 inch log and bent into a crescent. The cookies bake a total of 19 minutes. These cookies were all that I hoped they would be; crunchy, crispy, butter, nut goodness. Powdered sugar is a messy affair and I am not sure it was needed. We enjoyed these plain as well. Head over to Tuesdays with Dorie to see what others thought.
Weren’t these great! I loved these cookies.
