I made these cupcakes to round out my Thanksgiving table and they were well worth the effort. The cupcake is flavored with the warm spice of cinnamon. The apple pie filling was delicious and is put on after 12 minutes of baking so it won’t sink to the bottom. The frosting is a wonderful blend of whipped cream, sour cream and confectioner’s sugar. And the piece de resistance are these cute lattice pie toppings. These were a hit with my guests and were deemed a make again recipe. The recipe is available on the Foodnetwork website.
