Biscuits Rose

My rose biscuits are more like red biscuits. One half a teaspoon of red food dye was too much πŸ˜† Making these cookies are like making lady fingers. I did draw the lines on my parchment paper to use as a guide. I had more than the recipe called for. I did the two applications of powdered sugar which I did not think necessary. The powdered sugar was the only hazardous part of the job. I seemed to have powdered sugar every where. Same hazard with eating them. These are a very subtle cookie with only vanilla to flavor. I am glad to increase my French cooking knowledge and I will look πŸ‘€ for these in Paris when I go in May. To see what others thought head over to Tuesdays with Dorie.

Beautiful! I kept forgetting not to breathe in when I took a bite. They can be a choking hazard. πŸ˜‰

Yes, you got the color right and the shaping is on point. I tired to leave messages and had a lot of troubles doing so as Shirley @ Everopensauce.com. Therefore, I’m setting up as a new account.
