Well it has been quite a week in California 🔥We live in Venice Beach so we are safe but my mother-in-law lives in Brentwood which has been under evacuation so she has been living with us for the past week. I am enjoying having more family home 🙂

On to the baking assignment. I put my husband in charge of these biscuits since I had made dinner, chili, and dessert, rugelach. He gladly excepted the assignment. He chose to put in some whole wheat flour since we had some and the herb he used was parsley. I told him to make it easy and just cut the dough into 8 pieces he did and chose triangles. We enjoyed these biscuits. I think they were less tender since my husband used the whole wheat flour but they went well with our chili. To see what others thought head over to Tuesdays with Dorie.
