Fig and Goat Cheese Tart

Autumn is just around the corner but you would not know it from all the heat. This mostly no cook tart was a welcome addition to our dinner plate. My husband is not a fan of figs, I am, but he consented since half of them were cooked and they were served with goat cheese. We are also a goat cheese loving family. This was delicious and my husband said I should write great in my cookbook. This is high praise for someone who does not like figs. I should have served it with wine like Dorie suggested. I wouldn’t hesitate to make this one again. To see what others thought head over to Tuesdays with Dorie.

What a gorgeous photo of your beautiful tart. I should have put some greenery on mine, it just presents so much nicer the way you did it. I am giggling at your husband not liking figs…same here…he swears he doesn’t like figs and then he ate all but one piece of the tart! I think here, it’s because his mom would buy Fig Newton cookies and he didn’t care for those, so now he thinks he doesn’t like figs. This was a hit here.
