Banoffee Pie

Banoffee pie is a new dessert for me, I have not tasted or seen one before. After reviewing recipes online I decided to make the Simply Brilliant Banoffee Pie from Bon Appetit.

This is a no bake pie except for the crust. A cooled graham cracker crust is covered in a caramel filling, sliced bananas and then topped with whipped cream mixture of heavy cream, sour cream, vanilla instant pudding mix and vanilla. The pie needs to chill 2-4 hours prior to serving to let the caramel filling set. This has become a new family favorite and I have made it twice already.
