Cheddar-Scallion Scones

We love scones, they are a beloved breakfast treat. I don’t think we have made savory scones before so this was a new recipe for us. Scones usually have heavy cream or sour cream but with the addition of so much cheddar cheese these have whole milk as the liquid. I managed to get a nice rise on these and they were delicate and delicious. I cut them into the 14 pieces and served them over two meals including our Father’s Day celebration. These were delicious enough to make again when we are craving a savory scone or biscuit. To see what others thought head over to Tuesdays with Dorie.
